COMING SOON: The USA Men's 3rd place finish at the inaugural World Cup was not an aberration, it was an earned result. Soccer had been played at a high level throughout the country, but particularly on the East Coast and in the Midwest. While the USA Women’s National Team has been the world’s most successful team at the international level, having won the World Cup 4 times, the men have never equaled that 1930 success.
