Soccer History Lives Here Intro Reel

Organized soccer, officially called Association Football, has been played in the state of Illinois since the 1880's. The Soccer History Lives Here (SHLH) project collects, organizes, promotes and preserves the history of soccer in Illinois since those first games up to the present. While the focus is historical, and the research is detailed, SHLH strives to create a community of soccer enthusiasts who believe in equity for all as well as celebrate the diverse and inclusiveness of the game of soccer.
