Font: Has a direct connection to US and Illinois soccer history. It is based on the font used at the Pullman National Historical Park. Soccer teams from Pullman competed at highest levels of US Soccer in the early 20th century and attracted immigrants to work and play.
Colors: Black and Red, inspired by the colors of anti-fascist flags
Center: 1930 World Cup T-Model ball. Soccer is the center of this project so the ball is the largest element and is the centered symbol.
